What’s On: Eurovision at Oxford Art Factory
With the 2014 Eurovision song contest now in full swing in Copenhagen, Denmark — are you beginning to regret not flying over to attend?
Fear not. On Sunday, Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory will take Eurovision fans on an exotic trip to the depths of eastern Europe for the thrills and spills of one of the most popular music competitions in the world.
Long before Australian Idol, X Factor and Australia’s Got Talent, Eurovision put iconic acts such as ABBA, Olivia Newton-John and Celine Dion on the world map. The 2012 winner, Loreen, also performed live at the 2013 Mardi Gras Party.
Sunday’s Eurovision event at Oxford Art Factory will begin with a recap of the semi-finals from 6pm, before the screening of the grand final from 7.30pm on the two giant screens.
Throughout the evening there will be Eurovision trivia and a best-dressed competition.
Food and drinks will be available throughout the evening, including a Eurotrash cocktail.

Cost: $10 at the door. Free entry for the first 50 dressed in costume.
