LONDON-based filmmaking duo Brian Fairbairn and Karl Eccleston have produced a short online film that utilises the coded Polari language.
The language was created by gay men in the UK before homosexuality was decriminalised to hide and avoid detection by unwanted outsiders — including the police.
In its October edition, the Star Observer published a feature on Polari, including some words.
