Nowhere to go, you say?

Those of you who keep moaning there is nowhere to go out any more must be wearing blinkers be or in permanent hibernation.

This week I have been out everywhere. You know the old saying: Good boys go to heaven, bad boys go everywhere!

The weather may have been cold, but if you take the time to enjoy a beverage or two along Oxford St you will meet warm, friendly people working in our wonderful venues.

Natalie, Rowan and Polly from Stonewall are just a few of the many people who make stopping off for a drink on the way home from work a pleasant experience.

Plus, it is warm and toasty at Stonewall. I also got to catch up with the wonderful Verushka Darling on Friday night with her new night Let’s Talk About Sex.

It is just like having your own personal Dr Phil session — only she is prettier and has hair.

That said, she will rip the paper out of her shiny red box and probe you in places you never knew existed.

I had a great time downstairs at the Shift on Saturday night. I only went for a quick beer after dinner and went home, changed into some more leather and headed right back out.

Mad, you must be thinking. No, not at all. There is a sexy man working the bar there. His name is Todd and he has a beautiful smile and a great body. Remember, I saw him first.

Sunday afternoon I spent a relaxing hour at the Oxford having a good chat and ejoying a chicken schnitzel with mashed potato and salad.

Rounding the weekend off, I ended up back at the Shift just in time to see the talented Maxi Shield looking the picture of glamour in hot pink belting out Baby I’m Burning. Then teaming up with Verushka Darling to make you laugh with the new show Are You Being Served.

So the next time you moan there is nothing to do on Oxford St, remember my words of wisdom.
