ACON – focus on youth
Youth Week, April 1 – 10, is an annual event that celebrates young people.
ACON Hunter will have a stall on Saturday, April 9, 11am–3pm at the Indigenous Youth Week event at Newcastle Foreshore. There will be live performances by The Last Kinection and the Stiff Gins, and lots to give away for young people aged 12 – 25. This is a free event.
GLBT people under 25 years old on the Central Coast looking for social groups can access GENQ Gosford on the second and fourth Thursday of the month (ph: 02 4323 2374), or GENQ Wyong on the first Wednesday of the month (ph: 02 4390 7888).
Young GLBT people in Newcastle can contact Jenny on 02 4962 2188 at the Newcastle Youth Service if they’d like to get FUNQ GLBT social support group restarted.
