Warm up for Mr Leather
While final details are not quite finalised, don’t forget Sydney Leather Pride will be searching for a new Mr Leather later this year.
The title has taken current holder Anthony Lowe (pictured), who also writes for Sydney Star Observer, around the globe.
He competed at the Mr Australia/New Zealand leather compeititon in Melbourne last year and earlier this year travelled to International Mr Leather in Chicago where he finished sixth.
“Sydney Mr Leather has meant more to me than just having a leather title. I embraced the opportunity to represent the face of our Sydney leather community, not just at home but interstate and internationally,” Lowe said.
“During the past year I have had the pleasure of working closely with other community organisations including Dykes on Bikes, Harbour City Bears, Sydney Star Observer, ACON, Bobby Goldsmith Foundation, the Luncheon Club and the Hope for Cambodian Children Foundation.
“As I pass the title over, expect to see me in a visible role supporting the next Sydney Mr Leather on the most amazing journey to take his place on the stage at International Mr Leather 2011.”
info: Details of the Sydney Mr Leather 2010 competition will appear in a future issue of SSO. Keep your eyes peeled.
