Volunteers needed
The NSW Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby (GLRL) are looking for volunteers to help out at various events over the Mardi Gras season.
The community group will hold a number of fundraising events during the season, including their annual donation drive on Oxford St, running the cloakroom at ToyBox and Harbour Party and providing front of house services.
The GLRL also needs the assistance of volunteers at Fair Day to help run our stall and coordinate to their annual Sea of Hearts.
This year’s parade float for the GLRL will be ‘Campaigning for Happier Days’, which will draw creative inspiration from the TV classic Happy Days. They’re also calling out for volunteers to help create this year’s float entry, and to participate.
info: The GLRL will host a Mardi Gras season volunteer information night on Monday, February 1, from 6:30pm at Benledi House, Level 1, 186 Glebe Point Road, Glebe. To register interest in volunteering email [email protected] or just attend on the night.
