Brihanna tops US chart
Rihanna and Britney Spears’ much maligned duet version of S&M has topped the US singles chart, holding off Lady Gaga’s Judas.
Despite uniformly bad reviews, the addition of Brit’s vocals increased sales by 108 percent, helping the song sell 293,000 copies.
Gaga’s Judas, on the other hand, only managed to shift 163,000 – albeit after a mere two and a half days.
S&M becomes Riri’s 10th US number one hit and the third consecutive chart topper from Loud.
She just needs one more to match the four Katy Perry has so far bagged from Teenage Dream.
