Black Eyed Peas dedicate new video to Japan

Urban supergroup the Black Eyed Peas have dedicated their latest video, Just Can’t Get Enough, to Japan.

The clip was filmed there a week before the devastating earthquake and tsunami and includes footage of the band enjoying the country’s famed nightlife and culture.

It begins with a dedication that reads “our thoughts and prayers go out to all the people of Japan” before cutting to Fergie & co doing their thing.

There was always a risk the video could be misinterpreted, being released so soon after the tragedy, but it is respectful and reminds us of all the great things about Japanese culture.

Just Can’t Get Enough has been viewed as a return to form for the group after Dirty Bit drew almost universal criticism from fans.
