DESPITE only opening recently, Lickerish already has South Australia’s foodies talking. While not directly located in the heart of Adelaide, Lickerish is a restaurant and bar that resides in the popular seaside suburb of Semaphore. If you’re seated on its large balconies you will be able to enjoy some of the best views of the city.
The menu is diverse, catering to patrons who are after large meals at lunch and dinner, to those wishing to grab a quick bite. Some of the items have even been designed to share, making the experience all the more social and intimate.
The bar also has an impressive wine list, so that during the warmer months you can relax on the balcony and enjoy a nice glass of white, while indulging in a delicious meal while gazing out over Adelaide.
What’s more, if you’re planning an event or celebration, Lickerish can provide the perfect venue for a function. You can choose from either a cocktail or a set menu, and Lickerish will organise the rest.
The owners of the restaurant are John and Justine Hall, winners of the first series of the popular television show My Restaurant Rules. While the food is delicious and the venue warm and inviting, anywhere that grants you the opportunity to look out to sand and sea a few hundred metres away should be a staple in your restaurant outings.
