Pride on show despite Israel violence
Days after violence marred a controversial gay march in Jerusalem, London’s queer community celebrated at its annual Pride event last weekend.
More than 30,000 people took to the streets of the British capital last Saturday in a colourful march that included more than 40 floats, 365Gay.com reported.
The pride event began as the poverty awareness-raising Live 8 concert kicked off in London’s Hyde Park.
