Founded by businesswoman Renee Schmidt, Five and Knux is small, Australian-owned clothing brand with a focus on kids’ clothes.
Renee is the heart and soul of this business, and according to the website, is the “researcher, merchandise selector, order maker and taker, marketing manager, order packer, learning to be website updater, social media manager, bookkeeper and basically jack of all trades”.
With a focus on unisex/gender-neutral clothing, the business’s focus is to encourage children to wear clothes they feel comfortable in, bringing the focus away from gendered clothing, and focusing on appealing and practical designs for any child.
Sustainability is also an important aspect of Five and Knux, with the gender neutrality of the clothing making them perfect hand-me-downs for kids of all identities.
