Germany wins Mr Gay World 2015

Germany wins Mr Gay World 2015

GERMANY’S Klaus Burkart has defeated 20 other entrants from around the world to win the 2015 sash for Mr Gay World.

The 21-year-old milk technician, in is application to be a part of of the pageant contest, said he wanted to win Mr Gay World to “be a role model for young gays all over the world and help them with their coming out and also change young people’s opinion of homosexuality”.

While not winning the competition this year, Australian entrant Scott Fletcher received the Special Award for the swimwear category.

This year’s competition seemed to go off with out complication, unlike the 2014 competition in Rome that saw Australian entrant Chris Glebatsas and New Zealand entrant Troy Williams suddenly leave halfway through due to what they thought was a lack professionalism from the contest organisers.

  1. Where are all the other photo’s of the contestants…. I wanna see what the others looked like =0)

  2. Congratulations Germany!

Can I remind you that a poll conducted back in 2013, both Germany and Australia have high rate of support for homosexuality at about 77% (the high 5 countries being past 70% are Spain, Australia, Canada, Germany and Czech Republic) – yet both countries of Australia and Germany still ban marriage equality! The Christian Democrats are in Coalition control the German Parliament and the Liberals and Nationals Coalition control the Aussie Parliament!

I have come to the conclusion that in 2015 – all lawmakers/politicians are complete backward stupid bigoted idiots!

  3. Why should we pay any attention to this? Events like this just reinforce body stereotypes and eurocentric conceptions of the male form and ‘beauty.’
