Dev goes solo
If the name Dev doesn’t ring any bells, click on your iPod and scroll down to Like A G6. She is the featured artist on Far East Movement’s global number 1 hit and is now striking out on her own.
That said, she hasn’t deviated much from the group’s winning formula.
Bass Down Low is almost an exact replica of Like A G6 – from the bass heavy beats to repetitive lyrics – but that doesn’t make it bad.
The track is a ready-made party anthem and chances are you’ll be hearing it used as every second 15-year-old’s ringtone in the next two or three months.
